Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern access to and use of Oryndrax, including its websites, game services, accounts, virtual worlds and related online features. By creating an account or using Oryndrax, you agree to these Terms. If mandatory law gives you rights that cannot be waived or limited by contract, those rights remain unaffected.
1. Service status and development
Oryndrax is an evolving online game. Features may be experimental, incomplete or changed during development and after release. Game mechanics, balancing, progression, worlds, maps, buildings, travel times, resources, rewards, events, seasons, prices, availability and other content may be added, changed, rebalanced, replaced, reset or removed when reasonably necessary for development, security, fairness, technical operation or the long-term health of the game.
2. Accounts
You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for activity performed through your account, except where applicable law provides otherwise. You must provide accurate information when required and may not sell, transfer, share or commercially exploit an account without prior written permission from Oryndrax.
Oryndrax may temporarily restrict, suspend or terminate accounts when reasonably necessary to protect the service, other players or the integrity of the game, including in cases of fraud, abuse, cheating, exploitation, automated play, security threats or material breaches of these Terms. Where required by applicable law, relevant reasons and complaint or appeal options will be provided.
3. Fair play and acceptable use
You may not:
- use bots, scripts, automation, cheats or unauthorized tools to gain an unfair advantage;
- exploit bugs or vulnerabilities instead of reporting them;
- interfere with servers, APIs, authentication, security controls or other players;
- attempt unauthorized access, reverse engineering or extraction of protected game data except where expressly permitted by law;
- impersonate others, harass or threaten users, publish unlawful content, spam, scam or distribute malware;
- buy, sell or exchange accounts, in-game resources or services for real-world value unless Oryndrax expressly provides that functionality.
4. Player communications and moderation
Oryndrax may provide world chat, city chat, messages or other player-generated content features. You remain responsible for content you submit. Oryndrax may moderate, restrict or remove content and may take proportionate action against accounts where content or conduct violates these Terms, applicable law or the rights and safety of others.
5. Virtual resources, currency and items
Resources, credits, buildings, upgrades, cosmetic items, rewards and other in-game elements are digital game content. Unless expressly stated otherwise, they do not represent money, stored value, financial instruments or a right to cash payment and cannot be redeemed for real-world money.
Gameplay-earned virtual content may be lost, consumed, changed, rebalanced or reset as part of normal gameplay or reasonable operation of the service. Paid digital content remains subject to applicable consumer law and any specific purchase terms shown before purchase.
6. Purchases and refunds
If paid content is introduced, the price, content, payment conditions and any applicable cancellation or withdrawal information will be shown before purchase. Statutory rights relating to digital content and digital services remain unaffected. Nothing in these Terms removes a refund, repair, replacement, price reduction or other remedy where such remedy is mandatory under applicable law.
7. Availability, maintenance and data
Oryndrax does not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free or permanently available operation. The service may be unavailable because of maintenance, updates, incidents, network failures, third-party services, attacks or circumstances beyond reasonable control. Reasonable measures may be taken to restore the service and protect game integrity.
Players should not rely on game progress, rankings, virtual resources or other game data as permanent records with independent monetary value. Backups, recovery and corrective actions may require data to be restored, recalculated or adjusted.
8. Compensation and limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Oryndrax is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss arising from use of the service, including loss of anticipated gameplay progress, opportunity, ranking, reputation, virtual earnings or other value that was not directly paid for by the affected player.
Where Oryndrax is legally liable in connection with a specific game event, transaction or incident, and where applicable law permits a contractual limitation, the maximum aggregate compensation for that event, transaction or incident is limited to the amount actually paid by the affected player for the purchased virtual resources, virtual items or other paid digital content directly attributable to that specific event, transaction or incident.
No contractual limitation in these Terms excludes liability or statutory rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including mandatory consumer remedies and any liability that applicable law requires to remain unlimited.
9. Intellectual property
Oryndrax and its software, game systems, artwork, graphics, logos, text, world design, names and other original content are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Access to the service grants only a limited, personal, revocable and non-transferable right to use Oryndrax for its intended purpose.
10. Security and vulnerabilities
Do not intentionally disrupt the service or access data that is not intended for you. Security issues should be reported responsibly through the official contact channel. Public disclosure or exploitation before a reasonable opportunity to investigate and remediate may result in access restrictions and, where appropriate, legal action.
11. Changes to these Terms
These Terms may be updated when the service, law or business model changes. Material changes will be communicated in an appropriate manner before they take effect where required by law. Continued use after an effective change constitutes acceptance only to the extent permitted by applicable law.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands, without depriving consumers of mandatory protections available to them under the law that applies to their place of residence. Any mandatory rules regarding jurisdiction remain unaffected.
